"I came across Jennifer's rings when I was searching for ethically sourced, rustic, natural engagement rings. Being a geologist, I could not imagine having a stone that was "perfect" (by this I mean lab created); in addition, I am also a geochemist, so I understand the intricate process of how minerals form especially diamonds. For those reasons, I knew I wanted an imperfectly perfect diamond with all its impurities and fissures. Aaron and I have been together for quite some time and we knew we would get married at some point. I just basically hinted some rings that I wouldn't mind having. While in Berlin, we got engaged and he proposed to me with one of Jennifer's rings (it was part of the geologist lifestyle stack), but the ring was to become a part of a stack of my choosing. So the journey began with my relationship with Jennifer Dawes Design. Jennifer was extremely patient and gave great guidance in the design of my custom engagement ring, which consists of opaque diamonds of various shades and sizes. Aaron proposed with a 0.87 carat opaque diamond, and to the stack we added a 0.50 ct rose cut pear shape opaque diamond, a blockette band with 0.09ctw round brilliant cut white diamonds, a stacking stone ring with 0.18ctw round brilliant cut diamonds, and a custom stacking stone ring featuring a 2.86ct elongated hexagon opaque diamond.
It is a stunning stack, and I cannot wait until I am able to completely wear it in its entirety. Jennifer was amazing to work with, I cannot thank her enough for her time and effort into building such a beautiful piece of jewelry."
